Range of books roll out with secret treat spaces

STAR of BBC‘s The Traitors Minah Shannon has teamed up with Mars Wrigley to roll out a range of limited-edition books that house a secret of their own.
The Bunny Book Collection has rolled out alongside Mars’ Maltesers and M&M’s brands in partnership with the fan-favourite Traitor with limited range of titles including Jane Hare to The Great Gatsbunny to help adults keep an extra treat back for themselves.
Helping adult consumers to keep a chocolatey treat for this Easter, the book range act as a secret storage place that are ideal for M&M’s or Maltesers Bunny products and will keep treats away from prying eyes.
Commenting on the launch, Minah said: “We all know I’m no stranger to hiding in plain sight…that’s why I’ve lent my expertise to Maltesers and M&M’s.
“I’m always hiding my little treats from friends and family members, so the Bunny Books are the perfect way to keep my chocolate bunnies safe this Easter, especially now they’re launched the all new Maltesers Bunny Popcorn flavour and Crispy M&M’s Bunnies.”
This comes after Mars commissioned consumer research which found that 75% of Brits would be willing to hide their chocolate if they “kept mysteriously disappearing”, and 50% of respondents also said they don’t want to share their Easter chocolate.
The Bunny Books Collection can now provide the perfect hiding place for these treats at Easter, with a trio tongue-in-cheek titles for consumers to choose from consisting of Jane Hare – a play on Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë – The Great Gatsbunny – a retelling of The Great Gatsby where Jay Gatsbunny is a wealthy bunny known for his extravagant parties – and A Tail of Two Warrens – where two bunnies navigate the best and worst of times as a hoppy take on Charles Dickens’ A Tale of Two Cities.
To be in with the chance of bagging this novel trio, consumers can register their interest via Raffal and be in with the chance of some chocolate safety this Easter.
Florence McGivern, chief Easter officer at Mars Wrigley UK&I, said: “When our research showed just how far us Brits go to stash our sweet treats, we wanted to hop in and offer everyone a clever way to keep their chocolates safe.
“Whether you’re after a little treat for yourself or sharing the fun of a hidden treat with a loved one, our Maltesers Bunnies and M&M’s Bunnies are the perfect treat for a little moment of joy and indulgence this Easter.”
