UNILEVER is to spend £7m on a marketing campaign for its new 80p snacking ice cream range.
And for in-store promotion, the range, which includes Wall’s Solero Strawberry Smoothie, Feast Sandwich and Wall’s Duo, is to be given its own POS material.
And there will be launches for the new Double Raspberry and Double Coconut varieties from Magnum.
Vice president for brand building Noel Clarke said: “The total ice cream market in the UK is worth over £964 million and we know that ice cream is a footfall generator as well as an impulse purchase.
“Our NPD will build on the success of last year’s ranges with new season starter promotions.”
