Yoplait rolls out range with Netflix sensation

DAIRY products firm Yoplait has unveiled a new partnership with Netflix sensation K-Pop Demon Hunters to tie in with the back-to-school period.
The firm has created a range of exclusive yoghurt inspired by the animated film across its key brands, including Frubes.
Frubes will headline the collaboration with K-Pop Demon Hunters as Yoplait has also introduced two brand new products as part of the partnership. All three Frubes flavour variants will feature characters from K-Pop Demon Hunters including Rumi, Zoey, Mira and Jinu and every tube will also be designed with a different character and fun facts.
Back of packs will also feature a card collection which consumers will be able to match and swap with friends to help build engagement. There will also be a special surprise for those fans who find the ‘Derpy Tiger’ character.
In addition to the limited edition Frubes, Yoplait has also rolled out a special chocolate dessert yoghurt to the range as part of the collaboration as well as a new strawberry drinking yoghurt. These also feature fan favourite characters across packs.
The new K-Pop Demon Hunters Frubes will launch on 15 August across all flavours in all major grocers. Meanwhile, the new K-Pop Demon Hunters Chocolate Dessert rolls out on 9 September with an RRP of £2 and the Strawberry Drinking Yoghurt will hit shelves from 14 September with an RRP of £2.50.
Antoine Hours, general manager at Yoplait UK, said: “K-Pop Demon Hunters is a huge collaboration for Yoplait and for the kids’ yoghurt and dessert category – the most popular movie on Netflix is joining forces with the number one brand in kid’s yoghurt.
“We’re confident that our K-Pop Demon Hunters range will resonate with kids and families, and drive excitement in the yoghurt and dessert category across stores in the UK.  As with our existing kids’ range, the new K-Pop Demon Hunters range of products are also fortified with calcium and vitamin D, supporting our ambition to bring new shoppers into the category while helping families grow healthy bones through enriched dairy consumption.”
