INSTANT coffee brand Nescafé has entered into the ready-to-drink (RTD) iced coffee category with the launch of two canned variants.

The new Nescafé Iced Latte drinks are available in a convenient 250ml slimline can in two different flavour variants with Iced Latte and Iced Caramel Flavour Latte.

Consumers can choose between the standard Iced Latte or Iced Caramel Flavour Latte in the new Nescafé range.

Designed to be drank cold, every Nescafé Iced Latte can blends together the brand’s quality coffee with cream and a hint of sweetness to deliver a balanced coffee. Similarly, the caramel flavour delivers on this with a smooth caramel finish to the drink.

The launch marks a bold new chapter for the Nescafé brand, according to Nestlé, and brings the firm’s decades of coffee expertise into the fast-growing RTD category.

Each 250ml can comes with an RRP of £2.

The new RTD cans also follow on from the recent additions to Nescafé’s Espresso Concentrated drinks with the launch of the new Decaf and Mocha variants.

Ingrid Hayes, marketing director at Necafé UK and Ireland, said: “We know that more and more people are reaching for iced coffee as part of their everyday routine and they’ve been telling us they want Nescafé to be part of that moment.

“With our new ready-to-drink Iced Lattes, we’re making it easier than ever to enjoy a smooth, creamy iced coffee on the go. It’s the taste and quality you’d expect from Nescafé, in a format that fits right into your day.

“This is a really exciting step for us, and we can’t wait for coffee lovers across the UK and Ireland to try it.”
