The awards celebrate food and drink.

SCOTTISH food and drink producers are running out of time to enter this year’s Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards.

The deadline for submissions closes on 14 February, with a shortlist due to be unveiled in April.

Products submitted for the Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards are judged by a panel of industry experts, and buyers from foodservice retailers.

Winning products will be announced at a gala dinner and awards ceremony on 21 May 2020.

James Withers, chief executive at Scotland Food & Drink said: “The Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards is one of the most important nights on the calendar for an industry going from strength to strength.

“The awards represent a great opportunity for producers to gain the recognition they deserve, and for us all to celebrate the dedication, innovation and talent in Scotland.

“Be it in a field or a factory, exciting and dynamic products are being developed the length and breadth of the country, and as an industry we should be forthright in telling the world about our achievements.”
