Ginger Grouse rolls out as Edrington adds 3%

EDRINGTON, the private Scottish group, that owns and makes whiskies like Famous Grouse, Macallan and Highland Park saw sales turnover rise 3% to £607m and profit before tax increase, also by 3%, to £174m in the year to the end of March.

Among its highlights of the year, the group mentioned The Famous Grouse as performing strongly in the UK and Sweden and showing progress in emerging markets. Alcoholic ginger beer Ginger Grouse completed test marketing exercises and had been rolled out across the UK.
