Extra adds some bubble

A minty take on bubblegum is the latest flavour to join Wrigley’s Extra gum family. Launched to coincide with National Smile Month (20 May – 20 June), it’s designed to appeal to 16-24-year-olds. The company’s internal research showed it’s an age group that doesn’t take great care of its teeth.
Brand manager Katie Codd said: “Some of the younger generation are still uninformed about the importance of oral care. We want to remind younger chewers that chewing Extra sugarfree gum is a convenient way to keep their teeth clean and healthy, after eating and drinking.”
