Commenting on the wins, Dougal Gunn Sharp, founder and master brewer at Innis & Gunn, said: “We’ve had an incredible year with so many awards for our commitment to producing world class quality beer. Innis & Gunn launched twenty years ago with The Original, a pioneering beer of its time; The Original caused a real stir as it was matured in single-malt whisky casks, which was a first for the industry.
“Our ethos then and now continues to be built around quality, authenticity and innovation.”
Marking a string of success for the brand, Innis & Gunn consistently ranks in the top UK and global industry awards the brewer said.
These latest three awards marks a total of 11 wins for the firm this year as the brand has been picking up gongs across its range with Innis & Gunn noting that The Original has maintained its high marks for judges across a range of awards.
Sharp said:“In our 20th year of business, we are particularly proud of the success of The Original as well as all our award-winning beers. We work tirelessly to deliver innovative, quality products.
“It’s particularly rewarding that our commitment to our Canadian operation with the move to local production in our twentieth year has been recognised with the Country award as we work hard to deliver consistency and freshness in the quality of our beer.
“Award wins are testament to the entire team’s dedication and hard work in delivering quality beer and on behalf of the whole team at Innis & Gunn, we are immensely proud of all of these incredible results.”
