THE Retail Trust has launched a fundraising appeal seeking donations to support financial aid for those working in the sector.
Through the campaign, The Retail Trust will encourage consumers to walk, run, swim or cycle four miles, donate a minimum of £4 and nominate another four people to take part.
The fundraising campaign comes at a busy time for The Retail Trust, which has given out more than £1.2m in financial aid since the start of the pandemic.
Chris Brook-Carter, chief executive of The Retail Trust, said: “As a charity, we’re focused on protecting the hope, health and happiness of everyone in retail, but the support we provide simply isn’t possible without the donations the Trust receives.”
