FROZEN brand Birds Eye has bolstered its environmental credentials by introducing new recyclable packaging across its Natural Vegetable products.
As part of a phased approach launched in December, the packaging update is expected to remove 379 tonnes of plastic from circulation.
Birds Eye senior marketing manager Jess Ali said: “Shoppers are increasingly looking for brands that are making a positive difference on issues they care about, and we’re committed to ensuring all our vegetable lines will have recyclable packaging by the end of 2022.”
