MARGINS of up to 49% are available from its Easter-themed confectionery according to cash and carry firm Hancocks.
The Happy Easter range of more than 20 new products includes Easter Jelly Pops with an RRP of 29p, Chocolate Easter Lollies with an RRP of 79p and a 1Kg Easter Egg with an RRP of £9.99.
Another addition to the range is Milk Chocolate Rabbit Droppings, a novelty chocolate product from Hancocks that has an RRP of £1.00.
Purchasing director Jonathan Summerly said: “Our Happy Easter range for 2016 offers independent retailers a point of difference compared to the multiples.
“Plus, with the opportunity to earn over 40% margin and packaging that stands out on shelf, the range is predicted to be as successful as the recent Christmas Let it Snow portfolio.”
He added: “Our Easter Jelly Pops offer retailers 49% margin and at only 49p RRP they are a fantastic impulse purchase.”
Summerly said that along with its own Easter range, Hancocks will be stocking key branded Easter lines.
