SPAR Scotland donated £6,000 to a fund that supports the British Heart Foundation and Yorkhill Children’s Charity.
The Scarlett Fund is run by the parents of Scarlett Dougan who was born with a heart defect.
The fund is one of 33 nominated good causes throughout the country to benefit from money raised through Spar sales of single-use carrier bags.
More than £70,000 was collected and distributed in 2014.
