Supermarket listings for RTD cocktail brand
BREWDOG Distilling Co. has announced the expansion of its Wonderland Cocktails range to Waitrose and Sainsbury’s stores across the UK.
The RTD cocktails are available now from 460 Sainsbury’s stores as well as from 220 Waitrose locations, offering consumers across the UK the chance to try out the range for themselves.
Waitrose’s stock includes the Long Island Iced Tea and Strawberry Daiquiri variants. Meanwhile Sainsbury’s will offer fan favourite options such as Strawberry Daiquiri, Passionfruit Martini, Watermelon Margarita and the new brand new Chocolate Orange Espresso Martini.
Exclusive to Sainsbury’s stores, this new 14% ABV cocktail uses BrewDog Distilling’s Abstrakt Vodka with Arabica coffee with an added orange liqueur to bring a citrus twist to a staple cocktail serve.
This marks the latest piece of NPD from the Wonderland brand after the RTD range introduced five variants over the summer.
Wonderland Cocktails are available for purchase from the supermarket stores now and priced at ÂŁ3.90 per can at Sainsbury’s and ÂŁ3.99 at Waitrose. Both retailers are also offering consumers a four for three mix and match deal, with the cheapest item free.
Steven Kearsley, managing director at BrewDog Distilling Co., said: “In under a year, Wonderland Cocktails have landed in excess of 6,000 new distribution points across the off-trade.
“With Waitrose and Sainsbury’s joining the stockist list this September, we’re delighted to see the growth of Wonderland distribution across an exciting category that will be subject to extreme growth in 2025.
“The appetite for genuine bar-quality cocktail RTDs is alive and thriving. And Wonderland is here to make cocktails fun.
“Interestingly, the introduction of new SKUs has not led to any cannibalisation of the current range, instead it’s playing a role in driving better penetration and rate-of-sale across our bars network which further solidifies the consumers want and need for exceptional quality canned cocktails. And variety is paramount.”
