Classic chocolate bar makes its return to shops

Classic chocolate confectionery brand Caramac has made its return to store shelves for a limited time only as Nestlé brings back the staple sweet after it was discontinued in 2023.

GLOBAL confectionery firm Nestlé has announced the return of a chocolate classic and staple of the confectionery section for many years, Caramac.

Following its discontinuation last year, Nestlé has confirmed that Caramac will make a return for a limited time only, giving fans of the brand another chance to indulge in the treat once again.

The range includes the classic Caramac single bar variant, a convenient three-bar multipack as well as a sharing bag format of Caramac buttons.

All three are available across retail nationwide from 23 July while stock lasts meaning any consumers who want to get their hands on this classic treat will need to act fast.

While the return of Caramac has been widely called for across social media, Nestlé said it continues to innovative within the confectionery market to help deliver fresh products to stores. The most recent of this saw Nestlé Confectionery launch a team up between Milkybar and Rowntree with its Jelly & Ice Cream hanging bags sweets.

Lisa Butterworth, Chocolate Classics Brand Manager for Nestlé UK & Ireland, said: “The calls for the return of Caramac were heard loud and clear, and for this unique bar we wanted to create a special opportunity for fans to enjoy it once more.”
