MULTIPLE retailer One O One has teamed up with bakery brand McGhee’s to reduce food waste and raise funds for Clyde’s Cash for Kids charity in the process.
One O One stores are now offering ‘Bits & Pieces’ made up of off cuts from McGhee’s Traybakes, which previously went to waste.
Sold exclusively at One O One Stores, 50p from every pack sold with be donated to Cash for Kids.
Graeme Thomson of One O One commented: “We are delighted to be exclusively bringing this product to market in One O One convenience stores with our partners McGhee’s Family Bakers – supporting a local Scottish supplier to reduce food waste, whilst supporting our charity partner.”
