FROZEN fizzy drinks brand Skwishee is bringing back its hugely popular Free Skwishee Day this Saturday (12 September).

The event gives customers across the country the chance to enjoy a cupful for free at more than 250 participating stockists across the UK.

The event forms part of Skwishee’s wider approach to event-led marketing, creating excitement around the brand with the aim of giving its retail partners a reason to attract new and existing customers through their doors.

Raza Rehman, managing director of Skwishee and director of Scottish convenience retailer Greens Retail, said: “We want people to associate Skwishee with excitement, fun and memorable moments, and giving thousands of people the chance to enjoy one for free creates exactly that.”

Demand for Free Skwishee Day has grown so much that the promotion is being held twice this year for the first time ever.

There is also the chance for customers to make their Free Skwishee Day experience last all year, with five lucky customers able to win a year’s worth of free Skwishee. To enter, customers simply need to take a Skwishee selfie, share it online and tag @SkwisheeUK. Five winners will be selected to enjoy free Skwishee for an entire year.

Skwishee’s current flavour line-up includes Frozen Raspberry, Mad Mango and Redberrylicious, with the brand also gearing up to launch a new flavour later this year.

David Bateman, national sales manager at Skwishee, said: “Free Skwishee Day has become something that our retailers and their customers genuinely look forward to. We’ve seen the incredible response it can generate, with hundreds of customers queuing up at their local store.

“And with more than 250 stores taking part again this year, we’re expecting to see plenty of queues, plenty of Skwishee selfies and, most importantly, plenty of Skwishee being enjoyed across the country.”
