CITY of Edinburgh Council deputy leader Cammy Day has called for alcohol to be screened from public view – in the same manner as cigarettes.
A report from the Edinburgh Evening News revealed Day has written to community safety minister Ash Denham seeking a meeting on the issue.
Day’s call followed the publication of a report by the Children’s Parliament, in which children as young as nine made public health policy recommendations.
