Symbol group and wholesale group Nisa has significantly changed its operations structure. The firm’s new operations department now contains IT, member services and logistics and is headed by new operations director, Jonathan Stowe.
Nisa says the intention is to “house all service departments under one line of management with a clear vision of meeting member demands”.
Under the new set-up the IT team will continue development of the company’s “epositive evolution” system, an EPoS service designed solely for Nisa retailers, as well as the company’s order capture system.
Stowe said: “The information technology services we provide our retailers are vital to the running of their stores so it is imperative that we continue to drive forward this area and challenge ourselves to create and develop new services for our members.”
