TEA brand PG Tips has unveiled a new on-pack promotion in partnership with major streaming platform Disney+ in time for the release of Rivals season two.

The limited-edition promotion has rolled out across the PG Tips line in a bid to drive shopper engagement for the brand through the highly anticipated launch of the second season of Hulu Original show Rivals.

Running nationwide across packs now, the activity centres on the pack-led competition, which offers shoppers the chance to win one of 3,000 exclusive, limited-edition Rivals-inspired soft toy of the PG Tips’ mascot Monkey.

This exclusive prize is central to the competition and aims to drive purchase incentive with consumers as well as fans of the TV show.

After purchasing a promotional pack, consumers can scan the QR code seen on-pack to visit the competition website. From there, they simply need to enter the unique 10-digit code found inside the top lid and instantly find out if they have won.

Each limited-edition pack features a bold design with the brand’s iconic mascot front and centre. Monkey has been reimagined with a “Rutshire-inspired look” to ensure strong standout across shelves while tapping into the cultural buzz around the Disney+ TV show.

The launch will be supported by an eight-week above-the-line campaign, which rolls out from 15 May across TikTok, Meta and video-on-demand. Additionally, there will be in-store activations to drive shoppers to the PG Tips brand during their shop.

The PG Tips x Rivals on-pack promotion will launch across the brand’s most popular formats with 80 tea bags packs (£3.59 RRP), 210 Tea Bags (£7.89 RRP) and PG Tips Decaf 70 Tea Bags (£3.59 RRP).
