New senior team members have global ambitions

FIFE-BASED whisky bottler Saltire Rare Malt is set to enter further into the global market with its new senior team members.
Since its launch in 2024, Saltire Rare Malts can be found across the UK and as far as Japan, Latin America and the Netherlands. The Falklands firm is now set to welcome new stockists in Belgium and Uruguay now as well.
To mark the firm’s successful first year in business, Saltire is set to release its special one-year anniversary bottling with a 14-year-old Linkwood from the Speyside region – one of only 74 bottled from a Refill American Oak Ex Bourbon Cask.
The resulting expression comes bottled at 54.1% ABV and is priced at £160 each.
To help build this global relationship further, Saltire has appointed Jan Damen as its new European sales director and Paul Bryant as its USA brand ambassador.
The pair will join David McCallum, UK & Europe brand ambassador, and Andre de Almeida, business development director, in leading this global expansion. The team will also be in good company as international whisky experts and authors Hans & Becky Offringa will curate the Saltire Rare Malt Collection.
The independent bottling company offer consumers a range of curated whiskies that from “well-known labels”, “rare gems” and casks from “lost distilleries”.
