Graham’s has packed in the protein with its two new launches including a Protein Cottage Cheese and a new range of Protein Ice Cream variants.

SCOTTISH dairy products firm Graham’s Family Dairy has announced a double, protein-packed launch with its new Protein Ice Creams and Protein Cottage Cheese products.

The two new products join the wider Graham’s protein range and are now being rolled out across 112 Lidl locations across the whole of Scotland.

Packed with 10g of protein per 100g serving, the new Protein Ice Cream makes use of natural dairy protein as opposed to any plant-based or powder forms. Each serving contains under 170 calories with three variants for consumers to choose from: Creamy Vanilla, Salted Caramel and Double Chocolate.

And the new Graham’s Protein Cottage Cheese contains 30g of protein in every 200g pot in a Natural flavour. The new line aims to build on the success of the firm’s traditional Cottage Cheese product, sales of which have grown 40% in the last year according to Graham’s.

Robert Graham, managing director at Graham’s Family Dairy, said: “Growing up on the dairy, ice cream was always a staple in our house as you might imagine.

“As protein proves increasingly important in our diets, we’ve been hoping to create a product which can be an indulgent treat that also supports a healthy lifestyle.

“Our Protein Cottage Cheese however has been created on the back of crazy demand in our traditional cottage cheese product – consumers are increasingly demanding high-protein foods that aren’t ultra-processed and we’ve seen that demand across our protein range.

“We’re proud to offer two new products that don’t only tick both boxes, but are the first of their kind to be produced in Scotland.

“By working closely with Scottish family farms, we’re proud to offer protein-rich options that combine health, indulgence and quality – perfect for fuelling workouts, enjoying a healthy snack, or treating yourself.”
