Aldi Scotland is encouraging consumers across the country to ‘Kiss a Minger’ once again this festive season as its Minger cheese is back on shelves.

ALDI Scotland is encouraging shoppers to ‘Kiss a Minger’ once again this year as its Minger cheese is back in stores for Christmas.

Known for its strong smell and taste, this festive favourite from Highland Fine Cheeses is back on Aldi Scotland shelves now in time for the festive season and all its celebrations.

With a flavour that is sure to make it stand out on any festive cheeseboard this year, Minger is best paired with a crisp, dry white wine or a robust ale.

Aldi Scotland has worked with Highland Fine Cheeses since 2018 to bring its range of Scottish cheeses to the discounter’s shelves across the country.

Alongside Minger Cheese (priced at £2.29 per 125g block), shoppers can also enjoy the firm’s Caledonian Blue and smooth Carnegie Brie, both priced at £2.29.

Graham Nicholson, group buying director at Aldi Scotland, said: “We’re thrilled to bring back the much-loved Minger in time for Christmas. It’s bold, creamy and proudly Scottish – the perfect partner to cosy up to this winter.

“We’re encouraging everyone to ‘Kiss a Minger’ this festive season and discover its unique charms. After all, Christmas is the perfect time for a cheesy romance.”
