Spar Scotland wholesaler CJ Lang & Son has promised a groundbreaking show for its Annual Tradeshow event later this year.

SPAR Scotland is set to showcase the very best of the symbol as its annual tradeshow set to take place in Aviemore this September.

CJ Lang & Son, the wholesaler behind Spar Scotland, has unveiled the theme of this year’s event with ‘Raising the Bar’ as the Dundee-based company pledges to deliver a “groundbreaking experience” for all retailers in attendance this year.

Taking place at the MacDonald Hotel Resort in Aviemore on 26 September, the event will bring together independent retailers and company-owned store colleagues from across the Spar Scotland symbol along with team members from CJ Lang & Son as well as representatives from Spar UK and Spar International.

With plenty of networking opportunities available and the chance to work with some of the biggest FMCG brands in retail, CJ Lang has urged suppliers to ensure they are signed up to attend the event later this year in a bid to connect directly with Spar retailers and store manager from across Scotland.

Paula Middleton, head of marketing at Spar Scotland, said: “We are thrilled to welcome over 850 delegates to this year’s tradeshow and conference taking place in Aviemore, where everyone can network and learn about how Spar is winning in convenience in Scotland.

“Our goal is to also help suppliers to ‘raise the bar’ in their business initiatives by providing them with a platform to highlight their new products and innovations, core product lines and services to a targeted audience.

“Demand from our supply base has been extremely high and we are close to a sell-out, therefore we are urging any supplier who is looking to take part to get in touch as soon as possible to ensure they are not disappointed.

“We really do have a limited number of stand space left, so I would urge any supplier who has not signed up for the event to do so now.”
