Smokehead looks to blow customers away with new specially made glassware
AWARD-winning whisky brand Smokehead has announced a new partnership with renowned glassblower Elliot Walker to create unique whisky glasses.
Set to be a highly coveted whisky collectable from the brand, Smokehead said the glass with be available to purchase in September this year with plans to run a competition in October to offer consumers the chance to win one.
Elliot Walker, the series two winner of hit Netflix competition show Blown Away, has been selected to “reimagine” the classic whisky glass.
Following a prototype selection process over this summer, the winning design for the final product will be chosen by Smokehead’s audience through social media channels.
Walker said: “It’s a real honour to partner with Smokehead on this creative project, as a brand who is leading the charge on innovation within the whisky category and is unafraid of breaking boundaries, just like I am with my sculptures.
“I’m a huge fan of Smokehead and so it’s an exciting challenge to create a bespoke item that matches the brand’s rebellious and innovative nature – not only should it make a bold statement, but it needs to be functional and enhance the drinking experience.”
Consumers will be able to purchase the new glassware from the Smokehead web store form September during an extremely limited run for the launch.
