BORDER Biscuits has reached a confectionery milestone as more consumers indulge on sweet treats at home.
The Lanark-based biscuit manufacturer has revealed that five million of its dark chocolate ginger biscuit bars have been sold since their launch in January last year.
Mark Chance of Border Biscuits said: “Lockdown has proved that we’re a nation who love a sweet treat and that’s what’s helped us sell five million bars. We know that 2021 will see the demand continue to grow for biscuits and snacks.”
