TRADITIONAL and decidedly non-traditional Christmas treats from around the world are included in the festive range from specialist importer and distributor Empire Bespoke Foods – everything from a gingerbread house to edible Samurai Santas.

The firm’s Making Christmas Special range includes both decorated and DIY Gingerbread Man and Gingerbread House kits as well as a wide selection of traditional German biscuits, including Pfeffernusse, Allerlei (spiced gingerbread cake) and Zimsterne (cinnamon stars), which all come hand-tied with a gift-tag and ribbon.
The DIY Gingerbread Man and House kits contain pre-cut gingerbread, sweets and either ready-made icing or piping bags.
From Italian brand Chiostro Di Saronno and Amaretti Del Chiostro there are hand-wrapped panettones with two new flavours – Pear & Chocolate, and Sambucca.

After what it says was the success of Brand Castle baking kits last year, Empire Bespoke Foods has extended its range to include Samurai Santa and Walking Gingerdead (gingerbread zombies). The kits contain mixes, cookie cutters, sweets and icing.
Madagascan chocolate brand Madécasse has extended its seasonal bars range adding Hazelnut to Winter Spice, Peppermint and Orange & Cranberry.
Gingerbread brand Pertzborn has launched a stacked gingerbread tree.
