MEAT snack brand, Peperami, has expanded into bagged snacks with the launch of salami-coated peanuts.
The brand, which claims to be the UK’s top hand-held meat product, worth over £48m according to Nielsen, launched Peperami Double Crunch Peanuts in the spring to take the brand into a new category.
They’re made under a licensing agreement with Humdindger Ltd.
The brand has also revived its advertising character, Animal, who features in a £3m series of TV ads and even has his own Twitter account.
