Local dairy firm Graham’s The Family Dairy has announced a major expansion for its products across Scottish Asda supermarket stores.

FAMILY-RUN dairy firm Graham’s The Family Dairy has announced a major new expansion across Asda supermarket stores across Scotland.

The new deal will see 11 new lines hit shelves across Scottish stores this month, significantly expanding on the firm’s multi-decade deal with the supermarket and deliver more locally sourced products to consumers across Scotland.

Robert Graham, managing director at Graham’s Family Dairy, said: “We have a long-standing and very positive relationship with Asda, who clearly want to stock high quality products from Scottish farmers and it’s heartening to see a major supermarket supporting the farming industry.

“This expansion gives more customers access to the products that have made Graham’s a trusted dairy brand for generations.

“This expansion also supports the network of Scottish dairy farming families who are central to our success. Together with Asda, we’re proud to be championing British agriculture and investing in the future of quality dairy production.”

Asda has said the expansion of this partnership reinforces the supermarket’s support of leading Scottish suppliers. Following on from the rollout of the new listings, Asda stores will stock almost 60 Graham’s The Family Dairy products across milk, cream, butter, yoghurt, kefir and cottage cheese.

This will also include the firm’s recently launched Silver Top milk – a premium-end homogenised milk product that includes cream at the top of the bottle to tap into the rising demand for more traditional dairy products.

Ashley Connolly, local buying manager for Scotland at Asda, said: “We’re proud to scale up our long-standing partnership with Graham’s Family Dairy in a deal that reflects our shared commitment to high-quality local farming.

“Asda’s customers are looking for the very best produce on the market, and by partnering with experienced and trusted suppliers like Graham’s, we can make sure they’re catered for, while supporting Scottish farmers and promoting a strong, local supply chain.”
