Cadbury has unveiled a new Grab & Go format pack for its Dairy Milk range in a bid to cater to shoppers seeking out more convenient pack sizes in stores.

CONFECTIONERY firm Mondelēz International has unveiled a new pack size for the Cadbury Dairy Milk range to offer shoppers a more convenient format of its chocolate range.

Seeking to meet the consumer demand for more convenient, well-portioned treats, the new Cadbury Dairy Milk Grab & Go 56g format bar comes in three of the brand’s top-performing variants with Cadbury Dairy Milk, Cadbury Dairy Milk Chopped Fruit & Nut and Cadbury Dairy Milk Marvellous Creations.

The new Grab & Go bars offer two portions per bar in unique chocolate chunks. Further to this, packs also feature convenient resealable packaging that makes it easier for shoppers to enjoy part of the bar once they open it and then can reseal the rest to have at a later time.

To support the launch and drive up engagement, MondelÄ“z has introduced a new promotion across the Cadbury range with the ‘Win Now and Win Later’ mechanic offering shoppers the chance to win up to £100 in instant vouchers.

Shoppers can enter by purchasing Cadbury Grab & Go packs, scanning the QR code found on packs and then entering their details on the website to be in with the chance of winning. Shoppers will find out if they have won one of the instant prizes which include £25 Amazon Gift Vouchers, £50 Amazon Gift Vouchers or a £100 Amazon Gift Voucher. All entrants will also be entered into a wrap-up prize draw to win one of 15 £5000 days out or 30 £100 Red Letter Day vouchers.

Each 56g Grab & Go bar comes with an RRP of £1.35, with a price-marked format available as well with an on-pack price of £1.29.

Phoebe Morris, junior brand manager at MondelÄ“z International, said: “We’re seeing a clear shift in consumer behaviour, particularly among younger shoppers, towards more frequent, on-the-go snacking throughout the day.

“Shoppers are looking for options that fit seamlessly into their routines, creating a strong opportunity for formats that deliver convenience without compromising on taste.

“Our Grab & Go bars bring the trusted Cadbury Dairy Milk chunk taste into a format designed specifically for these high-frequency snacking moments.

“For retailers, this presents an opportunity to drive stronger shopper engagement, expand their chocolate offering with a relevant format, and attract the next generation of snackers.

“By tapping into this growing need state, retailers can unlock incremental category growth while making everyday indulgence more accessible and convenient for shoppers.”
