INVERARAY Post Office and Store in Inveraray, in Argyll & Bute, under the ownership of a husband and wife team since 1996, is to be taken over by a buyer from Suffolk, England after being sold through business agent Bruce & Co.
The post office also stocks greetings cards, a wide range of stationery, postcards, books, quality gifts and crafts.
• Christie + Co has been instructed to handle the sale of The Village Shop and post office in Luss, at Loch Lomond.
The shop serves the needs of high numbers of tourists and day-trippers throughout the year and also sells hot and cold food and convenience store products.
Jonathan Clough, associate director at Christie + Co said it was a good business that presented a great lifestyle opportunity.
