Breakfast cereal firm Cereal Partners UK & Ireland has issued a product recall across 14 specific batches of the Nestlé Shreddies The Frosted One packs.

CEREAL Partners UK & Ireland has voluntarily recalled 14 specific batches of the Nestlé Shreddies The Frosted One packs due to risks of hard sugar in the packs.

Consumers and retailers should be aware of certain packs of Frosted Shreddies could contain hard sugar – which could potentially cause dental damage when bitten into or be a choking hazard for young consumers.

The issue affects Nestlé Frosted Shreddies 500g with the following batch numbers:

• 42850952 (expiry date 07/2025) 
• 42860952 (expiry date 07/2025) 
• 42870952 (expiry date 07/2025) 
• 42880952 (expiry date 07/2025) 
• 42890952 (expiry date 07/2025) 
• 42900952 (expiry date 07/2025) 

The issue also affects Nestlé Frosted Shreddies 40g boxes inside the Nestlé Box Bowl Mixed Cereals with the following batch codes:

• 42913451 (expiry date 06/2025) 
• 42923451 (expiry date 06/2025) 
• 42933451 (expiry date 06/2025) 
• 43173451 (expiry date 07/2025) 
• 43183451 (expiry date 07/2025) 
• 43193451 (expiry date 07/2025) 
• 43203451 (expiry date 07/2025) 
• 43233451 (expiry date 07/2025) 

Consumers are requested not to eat any product with the above codes. Prior to disposing of the products, consumers should take a photo of the batch code, which can be found at the top of the pack, and contact the consumers services team via the website or by phone 0080007890789 to receive a refund.

No other batches of Nestlé Frosted Shreddies, Nestlé Shreddies varieties or Nestlé Breakfast Cereal products are affected by this recall.
