Help consumers to stave off the bitter cold of January with an extra indulgent coffee option from Gnaw with its range of Mocha Melts.

BITTER weather and dark mornings can make January a dreary month for plenty of consumers across Scotland.

A biting cold can go right through shoppers, prompting plenty to reach out for some hot beverage options to help warm themselves up, especially first thing in the morning.

And for so many of us out there, a cup of strong coffee is usually top of the list in these situations to help kickstart the day and power customers through the morning.

Though, there is no reason why this morning coffee can’t be elevated with an extra indulgent option. With a recent surge in interest for more hot chocolate options, premium chocolate brand Gnaw believes it can provide comfort and a feeling of homeliness all from one cup.

The small batch chocolate producer reckons its range of Mocha Melts will appeal here, available in a trio of tempting flavours with Salted Caramel, Hazelnut and Double Chocolate in packs of 12 Melts at £12 per pack.

All consumers need do is drop one of these Melts into their cup before pouring in their coffee of choice to help deliver a touch of luxury to the morning or as a much-needed afternoon pick-me-up.

Not only this, but January presents some extra opportunities for retailers to help drive up coffee sales, with three different national hot beverages days across the month which consists of: Gourmet Coffee Day on 18 January; National Coffee Day on 20 January; and National Hot Chocolate Day on 31 January.

Mike Navarro, spokesperson for Gnaw Chocolate, said: “One of the key priorities over the last 12 months has been to tap into chocolate’s unrivalled versatility.

“By piggybacking off coffee’s everyday appeal, Gnaw is providing the perfect means to add a little luxurious twist to one’s daily brew.”
