SCOTMID and the RNLI are calling on young artists to help design the front cover of the RNLI’s magazine.

The competition launch celebrates Scotmid’s continued work with the lifeboats charity as well as the 200th anniversary of the RLNI.

Budding artists have until 19 April to submit their pieces to competition@scotmid.co.uk and they should embody the spirit of the lifeboat rescue team.

Kirsty Connell, membership and community manager at Scotmid, said: “We’re excited to provide young artists a platform to express their creativity and honour the invaluable work of RNLI volunteers.”

GroceryAid Scottish branch’s Kiltwalks initiative

THE GroceryAid Scottish branch is once again taking part in Kiltwalks around the country this year to raise funds for the charity.

Christina Grant, field sales development manager at Mondelez, leads the campaign for the team.

She said: “Last year, we had almost 100 industry colleagues participating in Kiltwalks, raising more than £30,000 for the charity and helping to spread the word about the support GroceryAid offers.”

First up is the Glasgow event on 28 April. If anyone would like to join the team at this or another event or become a sponsor, you can get in touch by emailing christina.grant@mdlz.com.
