INDIAN food brand Geeta’s has bolstered its sales and marketing team with two appointments, both of whom bring a wealth of FMCG experience to their new roles.
Neil Lucas has joined the senior leadership team as director of sales. Lucas is now responsible for managing the brand’s commercial strategy in all distribution channels. His previous experience includes senior roles at Linda McCartney, New Covent Garden and Nomadic.
Eleanor Bridgman has been appointed marketing director. She joins from Vitacress and has previous marketing and brand management experience with Mondelez International.
The appointments follow a record-breaking year for Geeta’s. Last year, the brand grew by 50%, breaking through the £6m barrier. Its flagship Premium Mango Chutney was the UK’s top chutney line in 2021, according to Nielsen Scantrack figures.
