SCOTTISH Government retail minister Tom Arthur MSP has been urging independent retailers to tap into an £80m support fund.
In a letter to NFRN’s Scotland president Ferhan Ashiq, Arthur said retailers should look into the Covid Economic Recovery Fund, which is being administered by local governments.
Ashiq said: “I urge our members to contact their local council to apply for funding from this pot as soon as possible, to help them recover from the financial difficulties caused by the pandemic.”
