DELIVERED wholesaler Kerryfresh has entered administration due to ongoing financial pressure and loss of customers.
The beleagured wholesaler had over 200 refrigerated vehicles and 300 employees.
Allan Graham and Ben Wiles of Duff & Phelps Ltd, were appointed joint administrators to Kerryfresh on 23 March.
Graham said the short-term strategy will be to “exhaust all remaining options as quickly as possible” with respect to buyers for the whole business or parts.
“This will hopefully allow us to source continuing employment for the company’s workforce and minimise disruption caused to customers,” he said.
