ABERDEENSHIRE farm-based food firm Mackie’s is forging ahead with its Scottish chocolate bar production.
The company has added 35g bars in all four flavours – Dark 70% Cocoa, Traditional milk chocolate, Mint, and Honeycomb – to its range.
The firm says the new size provides chocolate bars that are ideal as snacks or as indulgent treats.
And the chocolate produced at its north-east Scotland farm is also playing a growing role in the firm’s established ice-cream manufacturing operation.
It is releasing a Chocolate Orange flavour of ice cream for autumn and winter, made with its own chocolate as a base.
