THIRD generation managing directors of their family haggis firm, James and Jo MacSween were among the winners at this year’s Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards. The brother and sister were given an outstanding contribution award in recognition of innovative product development and marketing.
Dawnfresh Seafoods was a double winner, taking top spot in the Investing in People and Environmental Sustainability categories.
Ian Macleod Distillers was also a double winner. Its Glengoyne 25 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky won the Alcoholic Drink award and the company took the Brand Success of the Year Award.
The Scottish Salmon Company was named Business of the Year.
