FAMOUS haggis producer Macsween of Edinburgh has been named Scotland’s Family Business of the Year.
The company took the title as part of the inaugural awards programme run by online magazine Family Business United. Judges praised Macsween for embracing their family values of the past and merging them with innovation to meet modern market demands.
The Edinburgh-based company’s joint managing director, Jo Macsween, said: “As a third-generation family company we are delighted … especially as we celebrate our 60th anniversary this year.
“At the core of our values is the desire to grow in an environmentally and ethically sustainable manner, always focusing on the consumer’s need.”
