STIRLING Distillery has secured new listings for its Classic Gin in a range of Co-op stores across Scotland.

The distillery, found in a shadow of Stirling Castle, has secured listings across the stores for its award-winning nettle-infused gin that has been made using botanicals found in the Stirlingshire area.

Made using six botanicals in total, Stirling Distillery said each were carefully chosen to help reflect the unique Stirlingshire countryside with a smooth and lingering finish that carries a peppery tang.

Co-op stores that now stock the gin include:

Sealed with a hand-dipped wax seal, the Stirling Gin has been decorated with unique illustrations of the Wallace Monument and the Old Stirling Bridge by Scottish artist Ritchie Collins to highlight the provincial nature of the spirit.

The final product offers consumers a 43% ABV gin with a mouthfeel that is both spicy and dry, says Stirling Distillery.

And their range of products also pays homage to Scotland’s rich history and folklore, such as the firm’s Battle Strength Gin which commemorates the Battle of Stirling Bridge.

June McCann, co-founder of Stirling Distillery, said: “We are proud to be sat on the shelves next to some brilliant Scottish gins. We love that the Co-op supports local suppliers and promotes Scottish food and drink in their stores.

“A big thank you to the team at the Co-op and Select Drams for bringing out nettle gin to the masses.”
