CALBEE UK has appointed a new marketing director.
Claire Hooper joins the ranks at the Bradford-based firm behind Seabrook crisps and other snack brands.
Hooper brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having served as head of brands in the snack division of Valeo Foods UK, where brands such as Kettle Chips and Barratt sweets fell under her remit.
In her new post, Hooper will be responsible for leading and implementing all marketing strategy and ‘activations’ for Calbee’s snack brands
Daniel Woodwards, managing director at Calbee UK, commented: “The appointment of Claire into the role of marketing director recognises our further ambitions for our brands and we are delighted to have someone of her calibre and experience on board.”
Commenting on her appointment, Hooper said: “I was drawn to the ambitious growth agenda, brands and culture at Calbee; it’s a talented, tight knit, agile team here in the UK, backed by the wider global Calbee organisation.
“The Seabrook brand is also one I have known and loved since childhood and I look forward to helping to further fuel its growth.”
