FOR many people, Easter is a key time for socialising at home and celebrating the long bank holiday with family and friends.
For this reason, Coca-cola European Partners reckons soft drinks will be an essential purchase for most consumers over Easter.
“A four-day bank holiday weekend means that consumers will often be stocking up and shopping for multiple products, so it’s important to stock soft drinks formats that are intended for sharing,” said Amy Burgess, trade communications manager.
“Dedicated Easter shelves that showcase soft drinks alongside essential items like seasonal gifts and sharing snacks can encourage shoppers to stock up, leading to incremental growth for retailers.”
CCEP advised stocking up on recently-rebranded Schweppes and Appletiser to make the most of the at-home social occasion.
