A new ambient dessert from Ambrosia, designed for what manufacturer Premier Foods calls “the midweek pudding market,” aims to take on the chilled twin pots flooding the market.
Called Ambrosia Puds, they are double pots with Ambrosia Custard or Creamy Rice and a crumble or fruit compote portion in the corner. None of the six flavours contains preservatives or artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners.
They should sit in the ambient aisle, beside other Ambrosia products.
RRP is 75p, with a 50p launch promotion available in key retailers.
