DIAGEO has added some fruit punch to its top-selling vodka brand Smirnoff, through the launch of a new RTD variant.
Smirnoff Mango & Passionfruit Twist is a 4.5% ABV premix can, available now in a 250ml format.
Launched in the off trade last month, the latest addition to the Smirnoff portfolio is available as a single slimline can or in a price-marked pack.
It joins existing Smirnoff RTD flavours Raspberry Crush and Raspberry Crush Lemonade.
A spokesperson for Diageo commented: “The newest addition to the portfolio follows a raft of innovative launches from the vodka brand.
“The new premix can echoes the bold flavours as well as the vibrant packaging Smirnoff Mango & Passionfruit Twist is known for.
“With on-shelf appeal, the latest launch will provide people with a new, convenient way to enjoy the liquid.”
Diageo is backing the launch through £2 million marketing investment in its flavoured potfolio.
The seven-figure spend includes broadcast and digital advertising, as well as social media activity.
