EDINBURGH Gin is ready to take flight, thanks to a new airline partnership.
In a first for the brand, Edinburgh Gin’s new Orange & Basil expression will be available on Easyjet flights. The deal will see 50ml bottles added to the in-flight bar, while customers can also pre-order 1L bottles through the on-board duty-free shop.
The new expression is also available in a 700ml bottle for £28 through the gin brand’s website, as well as Amazon, Booths and John Lewis & Partners.
David Wilkinson, head distiller at Edinburgh Gin, commented on the new variant: “A combination of fresh and dried orange peels adds a sweet citrus flavour which plays nicely off the juniper. The basil gives a warm, herbal aroma and adds a savoury depth to the gin’s aftertaste.”
