CHOICE is crucial at Christmas according to Loch Lomond Group, the firm behind Glen’s Vodka, with fractionals taking on an increasingly important role.
A spokesman for the firm has suggested that at a minimum, retailers should stock the top two brands of each drink category in a range of sizes and packs, and may be wise to offer at least one premium trade up option.
“Fractional sized bottles will be a key size for retailers to stock in the run up to Christmas and New Year, highlighting the importance of offering a range of bottle sizes and price-marked packs across all spirits brands to support sales,” he said.
