Convenience seals the deal

DEMAND for on-the-go drinks inspired the new resealable pack that AG Barr has introduced for its juice drinks brands, Rubicon, KA and Sun Exotic.

The 330ml carton, known as a prisma pack, has a  screw on and off plastic lid.

Barr says the drink-now market is worth £320m and growing at 3% faster than the overall drinks market.

Head of marketing Adrian Troy said: “Our new prisma packs are perfect to meet shopper needs as they are re-sealable and adult sized.

• Towards the end of last year juice producer Sunmagic secured its first listing in the One Stop c-store chain.

Its 1L recap juices moved on to One Stop shelves with an RRP of £1.

Brand manager Razin Ali said: “One Stop is the ideal place to showcase our juice brand.”
