Unitas unveils Winning with Unitas brand building plan

Wholesale buying group Unitas has unveiled its new Winning with Unitas initiative, offering suppliers a key opportunity to drive up sales with the group’s members.

WHOLESALE buying group Unitas has revealed a new brand building initiative to showcase how suppliers can optimise their investments across the group.

The brand new guide ‘Winning with Unitas’ positions the buying group as a brand building partner for suppliers and manufacturers and showcases how it can drive volume growth through a range of retail, wholesale and out-of-home media opportunities.

Belinda Parkinson, head of marketing at Unitas, said: “Compiling the most impactful ways that brands can share their products, promotions and NPD in one at-a-glance guide will open up the wholesale market for existing and future supplier partners, and we’re really looking forward to working with them to deliver exceptional return on their investment.”

The print and digital booklet offers suppliers a keen insight into the inner-workings of the group and how manufacturers have benefitted in the past by teaming up with Unitas’ 125 members, taking advantage of promotions, range guidance, depot and retail activity as well as member engagement events.

The 11-point booklet advises suppliers on how to work with Unitas on an “execution roadmap” that includes creating one or two larger opportunities with the buying group, which Unitas calls its ‘Big Bets’, to drive up standout across the sector and deliver a clear message through the group’s members.

This new booklet also comes after the wholesale group announced its new plans to work more with suppliers as part of its Connect26 conference.

David Cooke, chief operating officer at Unitas, said: “Our wholesale network offers incredible size and scale, and we’ve created this guide so all brands can maximise every opportunity to exploit that.
