Scotmid unveils winning six in Scottish Favourites contest

Highlighting some top brands from across Scotland

Scottish retail chain Scotmid has unveiled the six winners for its Scottish Favourites competition for 2024, with each going on to receive listings across stores’ shelves.

RETAIL chain Scotmid has unveiled the six winners of its Scottish Favourites competition, securing the opportunity to showcase their products across the chain’s shelves.

Ran in partnership with Scotland Food & Drink, the competition attracted 32 entries from across the country, with a final six coming out on top:

• Three Robins: Oat Milk/Chocolate Oat Drink/Smoothie Pouches
• Golden Casket: Millions American Sour Squishies
• Equi’s: Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream
• Young Spirits: Blue Raspberry/Watermelon Vodka Shots
• Burnside Brewery: Right to Roam IPA/Wayfinder Lager (Alcohol-Free)
• Fierce Beer: Iron Brew Beer Cooler

A panel of expert judges faced the challenge of selecting the winner from a strong field of innovative and high-quality entires, said Scotmid.

Each winning supplier will receive ongoing listing in Scotmid stores across the country, allowing customers the opportunity to discover and enjoy these products. The first listing will kick off on 28 December and feature Burnside Brewery’s alcohol-free premium drinks.

The products’ listings across Scotmid will be as follows:

• 28 December 2024: Burnside Brewery
• 15 January 2025: Golden Casket
• 29 January 2025: Fierce Beer
• 26 February 2025: Three Robins
• 3 March 2025: Equis
• TBC: Young Spirits
