Frozen fizzy drinks’ Bring Your Own Cup Day returns
FROZEN fizzy drinks brand Skiwshee has announced the return of its Bring Your Own Cup Day event, set to take place on Saturday on 26 October.
On the day, customers will be encouraged to get creative and bring in their own cup to fill up with the frozen delight. And to tie in with the season, promotions for the event feature a Halloween-themed addition.
The event, which runs between 10am and 7pm, allow consumers to bring in their own cup, pumpkin, chalice or skull – so long as it can hold the frozen drink, consumers can fill it up for just £2.49 on the day.
Glenshire Group, the firm behind Skwishee, anticipates the day will welcome thousands of customers at more than 200 partner stores across the country.
Alongside the event, consumers will be in with the chance to win a range of prizes by submitting photos of their creative containers with the hashtag #skwisheebyoc, and tagging Skwishee accounts on social media.
The event is free to run for all retailers, with all marketing and POS materials provided by free by Skwishee.
Current flavours on the Skwishee line-up include Frozen Raspberry, Mad Mango, Redberrylicious and Dragon’s Blood.
This also follows on from Skwishee’s other popular in-store event Free Skwishee Day, which took place in May this year, and saw over 250,000 cups of the frozen drink poured during the event.
Raza Rehman, Skwishee director, said: “Coming from a retail background ourselves, we know what it takes to help our stockists stand out and become destination stores, event-led marketing is what makes us disruptive in this industry.
“We are truly invested in driving footfall into our partner stores, creating enhanced brand exposure for Skwishee, and encouraging new customers into the stores through the hype of nationwide marketing.
“Last year, we saw Skwishee fans making their own cups by carving our fruit and customing a variety of containers. This speaks to the enhanced loyalty and excitement that Skwishee brings, and we cannot wait to see what Skwishers bring this year.”
